Lastly, you say that the "game" isn't for everyone, if they don't like the level of commitment in attacks. Now, I'm not saying this is an excuse to not bring awareness in game or give good game prompts to familiarize new players, but at the same time, anyone has access to this information, while I understand the frustration of losing hunts or not getting breaks, you state that you felt "defeated" after a period of time of not getting much rewards, did you consult reddit/discord/youtube/ or a streamer? Couple this with Reddit and Discord, there is a mountain of information, easily searchable at hand. We obviously, live in an age now, where especially for video games, there are tons of guides/videos on how to do something. Many new players, really ignore this game mechanic, complaining that some fights are too hard, when really they need to be utilizing the interrupt available. This creates a LARGE window to get damage in or focus a part break. One of the first things any veteran does with a new fight, is try to find out if certain attacks of a behemoth can be interrupted. The game does a poor job of really familiarizing players with "boops" or interrupts. Tier 1-4 is basically the "tutorial" at this point, where slayers should get familiar with the games mechanics. The change in difficulty use to be much earlier on in Alpha/Closed Beta, around Tier 3, then Tier 4, and now only really in Tier 5 (Tier = Island). I think a very huge hole in the game, is preparing new players for the change of difficulty. With that out of the way, I wanted to address some items in your article, and then if you have the time, let me know what you think. I feel you took a very objective look at the game and summarized both the positives and negatives well. Let me start off by saying that the article is well done.
